| Aberystwyth RC is the local 'branch' of Rotary International, a 1.23 million member world wide organisation committed to helping worthwhile local national ant international causes and promoting world understanding. We are a very active social and working club with weekly meeting throughout the year. |

Every club member is active through one of our working committees with the chair and members changing annually ensuring a constant flow of new ideas, enthusiasm and no boredom! Activities organised last year range from youth competions in photography, cookery & music, a 'Water Aid' project, a charity pig roast, travel scholarship, volunteer driving, a golf match, a visit to Dublin |

Successful fund raising is vital for us if we are to maintain our long standing reputation of supporting local, national and international causes. We donated over £17,000 in 2009/10, detailed on our 'Charity' page. |

Tuesdays
is our regular meeting day, normally at 12.50 pm for lunch in the Marine
Hotel on Aberystwyth promenade, where we have a varied programme of
guest speakers and conduct our business. Occasionally we hold evening
with partners. |

 The only source of drinking water in Buyege village, Malawi was a filthy waterhole shared with their animals until we installed and supervised the construction of a borehole - it now supplies 3000 litres of clan water every day |
