Rotary club of Aberystwyth on the West coast of Wales
The

organisation of Rotary International.
There are some 1.23 million
Rotarians in 31,000 clubs across the world,
helping those in need and working towards world
understanding and peace. Its a fulfilling role.
The club meets on most Tuesdays throughout the year, in
the Marine Hotel, North Promenade, Aberystwyth. The normal meeting time is 12.50
- 2.00 pm, with an evening meeting with partners, at 7.30 pm on the 5th Tuesday
of the month. Visit the programme page, and you can see
that Rotary
appeals to the widest spectrum.
The
Aberystwyth club is made up of male and female members of 47 people from
Aberystwyth and the surrounding area, representing a wide range of occupations,
professions and backgrounds.
All the activities in the club are organised through a series of
committees, with all members taking an active role in the local and
international community, fund raising and social events. Committee membership
changes each year allowing all Rotarians an opportunity to apply their
experience and knowledge in different fields.
New members are always welcome. If you are interested in serving the local and
wider community, you should visit our 'new members page where you will find more
information on the 'Objects of Rotary', what your commitment as a Rotarian will
be and, how to start the process of being approved for membership.
